It is no secret that when it comes to premium audio visual and technical services, we are the supplier of choice for a vast number of corporate events and conferences both locally and interstate.

We were recently in Melbourne to team up with Kojo Events who’s creative team in concert with the Novatech team designed a spectacular b-spoke event for their client, Kmart. The venue chosen for the 1000 guests was the Peninsula Room in the iconic Docklands precinct. Novatech provided design, technical production and labour services for this highly demanding event with one of the key elements being a 16ft x 6ft, 360° ring screen complete with four Barco RLM-W8 projectors used for the conference session. Immediately following the conference, a rock themed stage with one of the largest analogue light shows seen in years and a cocktail bar was revealed to the guests through a custom built curtain reveal system.

As you can imagine, a great night was had by all.

New Years Eve was a busy night for Novatech with 3 major pubic events on to welcome in 2012.

The Adelaide City Council presented their annual fireworks and concert in Elder Park with a bit of a difference this year. The iconic rotunda became the center point of the evening’s festivities with the main stage being constructed around it. Our CLS ground support system framed it all beautifully and an array of lighting fixtures ensured the historic rotunda brightly saw in the New Year.

Down at Glenelg families were treated to a concert from legendary children’s entertainer Peter Comb who with his live band performed all his hits from ‘Juicy Juciy Green Grass’ to ‘Mr Clickety Cane’. Fireworks from the Jetty lit up the sky at midnight struck.

This New Years Eve also saw the addition of the Summadayze music festival, which usually takes place on New Years Day. Thousands of revelers began partying mid afternoon as four stages played host to artist such as Snoop Dogg, Moby, Pendulum and Grandmaster Flash. Novatech provided sound, lighting and video for the whole site.

Around 60 staff, 10 trucks, a couple of semi trailers and about 5 hours ensured all the gear was back an Novatech by early morning giving everyone a pretty relaxed New Years Day.

If “ILLURE” was a book it would be a great ‘page turner’ with each chapter alluring audiences into a fantastic world of fiction and escape.

This unique production stars international female illusionist ‘Charli’, who has recently relocated to Australia following performances across America, New Zealand and Asia.

Vocalist Libby O’Donovan stars alongside a cast of four scintillating dancers showcasing her versatility, star quality, cabaret style and soaring vocal talent. The show includes an exciting blend of original music by Libby and Mark Ferguson along with songs made famous by artists as diverse as Sting, Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald, Grace Jones and Leonard Cohen.
